... Polyphony Digital went to Sega (The blokes who made Sonic games) in hopes to get GT published instead of Sony waaaay back in the 90s?

I was going to make some smartass remark about how PD is owned by Sony, so it wouldn't make any sense, but...
...I learned something instead. I knew that Kaz & them had made Motor Toon Grand Prix before Gran Turismo, but I'd never realized until now that PD wasn't formed until after the first Gran Turismo was released. I just grabbed my copy of it, looked over the case, through both 64-page manuals (remember manuals?), and there's no mention of PD anywhere.
Wild.
